3.4camarocdog.......so did u fix the poping sound....my car does the same thing and it's coming from the drives side also....it only does in at wot and i have no idea why

 

ummmm i dont kno if its fixed but it hasnt happened in a while
my idle was high while it was misfiring and now that i idled it down it aint misfiring anymore is yours at high idle?

 

when i start my car it goes to 1,000rpm and then drops to 750-800rpm...thts on a cold start...i'll drive it later today and tell u the idle after a little bit of warming up...thanx for the reply 3.4camarocdog

the ses light starts blinking at 5,000rpm and climbing from 4-5,000rpm sounds like my motor is gonna blow and it just gets slower..

so do i need get back to u and tell me the idle after drivng it a lil and letting it warm up...

it the 750-800 a good idle at start up.???

no i have a 20003.8 auto...well it doesnt jerk or missfire like tht but when just coasting along if i floor it in the begging it pops under the hood drivers side and then climbing from 4,000rpm-5,000rpm is sounds like it's gonna blow up and then when it hits 5,000rpm the ses light comes on and blinksand then goes off...

 

aw i only got that once and i just thought it was the spark timing
when i reach 5000rpm i have to be doin 60+ it takes a while to reach 5000rpm
my ses light stays on all the time and my brake light does too
i need help with that
