enough is enough im tired of this poppin noise i changed the spark plugs the oil and filter and i checked for intake leaks and there are none. But im still gettin this poppin noise i cant even get my car scanned at autozone or any auto place because they only scan 96 and up but wtf the 95 camaro 3.4 and 96 camaro are the same arent they? can someone give me a list of wat my problem could be? it is also revving real high at first start and in nuetral. do u want me to make a vid cause i can try?

 

'96 started the 3.8 era. No more 3.4. Also '96 started the OBD-II. '95 is OBD-I. Nothing is the same.

 

explain the "poping" noise. From the exhaust tail pipes like a back fire?

 

naw its from under the engine like on the driver side its annoying and draining my power when ever i step on it

sounds like a exhaust leak. Check your manifold to y-pipe connection. Possibly cracked exhaust manifold.

 

Word. Though in previous posts you said it sounds like misfiring. Also you said a couple spark plugs were white, which indicates a lean condition. Hence, as I answered in the other post, perhaps you have a few injectors that need cleaning...
