Default pirelli p700 245/55/16

I just replaced my Yokohama 215/60/16 tires with the pirellis and DAMN what a difference. I still have the yokohomas in the front. I was amazed at the traction improvement. Alot of people have told me that wider tires for my v6 would hurt my performance but ive only noticed improvements. I was wondering what your guys input is.
My car is in sig

typo on topic tires are actually 245/50/16

i just replaced my nexen 225/45/17's with dean 235/50/17's
nexens had way better traction. notice very small decrease in torque off the line. when i switched from the stock 235/50/16's to the 225/45/17's there was a noticeable torque improvement

You can. You can blow your rear with any tires if you act like a moron. Btw you should match up the sizes front to rear. Better handling. And you should've got 245/50 rather than a 55 series =P

In the rain and snow it would, because there's more surface area to give lift. But not on dry pavement.
