Default Pegged Gauges

I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this problem. My Voltmeter, oil pressure and fuel gauges are all pegged high. The temp gauge is fine - I've replaced the fuse. I think I can rule out ground and power because the temp gague is working fine. ( Wiring diagram shows same ground and power to all - tach and speedo are fine)

I have recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump relay. I may related to this, I was mounting the fuel pump relay(car was at idle) and it started clicking then the car shuddered and cut off. It recrank fine seems like I lost power to the pump. I thought the fuel pump relay was only to prime thesystem it then dropped outafter2 seconds (fuel prime request from the computer) and then oil pressure sending unit repowered the pump. That way if you lost oil pressure the pump cut off (accident safey).[:@]

I've checked the voltage on the car at the battery with it running, little over 14 volts not 18+ like the pegged out voltmeter is saying.

I was careful with the sending unit on the fuel pump.

I would think it was sending unit but three at one time? And the voltmeter is just reading power.

THank you for any help.

That is how it used to work in the older cars. In the 4th gen only the pump relay powers the fuel pump. As for the gages, you may have blown the logic circuit which is part of the instrument panel.
