Hey guys I am looking for a pcm tuner for my camaro the 3.8 y87 3800 and i would perfer to tune from the obdII port if possible what are the best ones out there what kinda gains do you get? Also i have a 3.9Liter 98 dodge dakota v6 is there a pcm tuner that would work for both vehicles? That would be awesome thanks for the help!!

 

the heldheld tuners like hypertech are made for only one car, they put a generic tune on your car and hoe its right. it made my car slower in the 1/4.

go to pcmforless.com, they have good tuning work there, and its not overly expensive at all

 

HP tuner seems to be the most common. I have not looked into what the cost is. It seems 1997 and up are the most tunable. I plan on upgrading to a 97 PCM when/if I start to play.
