Default Oil Sensors Question

94 3.4 v6 what does the oil pressure sensor and the oil level sensor do to the car when they go bad or don't work right?

Your oil pressure on the dash will either peg the needle high or it will not register the proper oil pressure. Oil level sensor, I think, will energize a check oil level light on the dash and on some engines will actually shut them down, not sure on the 3.4.

On this subject, does anyone know where I can get a connector for the oil level sensor?

It goes back to this problem car runs for about 5 or 10 seconds and stop running
https://camaroforums.com/forum/showt...678#post298678 was wondering if these sensors would cause this problem.

if its not showing oil pressure the computer will turn the fuel pump and or injectors off. have u replaced the sending unit. there should be two one for the oil pressure sensor and one for the oil pressure gage. sensor one is for the computer and should be down there by the oil filter. thats the one that should be giving u problems if thats what it is. could be the fuel pump itself.

Go to a bone yard and find a vehicle that still has it hanging in the engine compartment. That is where I got one, then spliced it into the wiring harness, soidered and heat scrinked the splice.
