Default Oil Pressure Sender

Back story: Two days back, my tensioner pulley shatters, and my serpentine belt gets stripped to about half its regular thickness. I replace the pulley and belt, but it turns out that as the stripped piece was spinning, it hit my oil pressure sender. So now I have the plastic tubing of the sender, but the threaded part is still in the block.

Suggestions on getting it out so i can put a new sender in?

The entire thing is plastic, i'm considering "notching" two small slots on the ring, and using a quarter to turn it out. I'll have to see if i can get it to work when I get home

that doesnt matter. The place to put the wrench is at the base of the sending unit. Just use a set of water pump plyers and turn the damn thing. You may even be able to take it off by hand.
