Hey guys I have oil leaking from somewhere at the back of the engine on my 94 3.4 camaro. Replaced the valve cover gaskets so I'm 99% sure its not the gaskets leaking. From what I have been reading it could sound like the rear main seal. I've never pulled a tranny before....how hard of a job is this and any other ideas of where the leak could come from?

 

It's pretty involved -- yes rear main seal -- just had it done on my SS...

GM's labor estimates are 4.5 hrs for auto, 5.5 hrs for manual on the 3.8L -- should be similar on the 3.4L...
