Default O2 simulator

I'm wondering about O2 simulators. How well do they work? My downstream sensor is on the fritz, and my cats are non existant. Would an O2 sim be beneficial or are they just a gimmick?

They work on early OBD2 cars, but in newer cars the computer is smart enough to pick up that the simulator is not working like a downstream sensor. They are cheap enough, so give it a try.

Some work some don't work sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. You're really just gambling with it.
