Default noisey rear axel

seems like lately my car has just been one problem after another. first the air conditioner, next the radiator, now the rear end. over the past few months i notices a noise inside the car coming from the rear end, i thought it was the tire's tread design or sumthing, got axel grease put in the rear axel and that didnt help much, got the tires rotated, shaved the rotors, thats didnt help either. maybe the bearings need greasing i dont know? but its starting to get annoying and im just wondering if any other folks have had this problem.
