Default No Heat!

94 3.4 and no heat. I can hear the door open/close when I turn the dial from cold to hot and back. The coolant level is good.

Check the hoses to the heater core, thay should be as hot as the radiator hoses. If they stay cool, the heater core may be clogged.

Well I pulled the heater core out and shot water thru it and all sorts of junk poured out of it. So after taking the hoses loose and spraying water thru everything getting all the brown mucky stuff out of the lines, I flushed it and now.....I have heat!!!!

That's the clue, both hoses should br hot if the core is clean. Being that you had gunk in the heater core, the radiator core is probably gunked up also. May be a good idea to flush it out also, and put in fresh antifreeze.

That's also a good indication that that is rust. I wouldn't worry about it, but definately flush it out. Antifreez's color is the general guide line on the condition of rust inhibition.
