i have no air blowing out of my vents, it sounds like te fan is on but nothing is coming out. sometiems it studders but nothing that least more than a second. i checked thet fuses any help would be great

im having the same damn problem with my car, it started around the time my converter got stopped, i could hear a grinding noise in the motor but i dint think it had nothing to do with the ac but after i got the problem fixed my ****ing vents wouldnt work and now the cold air comes out in defrost setting, even when its switched to the vents. so i guess were both ****ed

 

Your vents use vacuum to control them, not the A/C compressor... Do you feel cool when you cuss?

 

my air studders, more like fades in and out. when i first turn my car on in the moring i have air blowing, not cold though, and by the time i get to work about 10 mins away it has stopped blowing. if i drive for like thirty minutes the air will sometimes blow for a couple of seconds and then stop and then blow. the air is never cold when it blows out. thanks!!!

There are a couple of reasons you can feel the air quit blowing. One is the fan could be on it's way out. Sometimes electrical components become finnicky when they are about to quit working. Two is there may be a problem with the vacuum lines that are used for A/C vents and such. They are under the hood to the left, near the PCM. Also right near where the heater and A/C lines go to the firewall. The lines aren't all that big in diameter, and you'll see where one line tees into a few. Inspect those for damage and make sure they're hooked up. The air not being cold could be a few things also. Something to check would be the refrigerant pressure.

 

sounds like electrical, the fan is probably on it's way to certain death
