Its possible to spray your motor as it is. IMO replacing/upgrading the headgaskets is a minimun.
I don't understand, you can find a low miles SIII motor for $400-600 why mess with a 160K motor at all? The SIII motor is stronger and breaths better and if you screw up with the nitrous system you could alway put your old motor back in. Nitrous can be used safely but it is VERY common for guys to blow their first Nitrous motor.

Because the OP already decided what he/she is going to do and is not soliciting reasonable feedback.
We do not know the application or why someone with a sixer wants to spray. I can understand if he/she is pulling a heavy boat out of the water and needs a little extra oomph but 4th gens are not good tow vehicles
Surely the OP isn't racing but since no details were given, nor valuable feedback solicited, we must either simply directly answer the questions or choose not to reply because insufficient data was given in the question; thus why I chose the latter
