A resonator will probably tame it down, if you have the room under the car.

Just installed the same exhaust. Pretty happy with it. I do have the resonator. Camaro body down the street with V8 Camaro was pretty impressed with the sound. I do agree you get less quality sound as RPMs get up there. No matter what it is still a V6.

can you make a video of it going through the RPM range, i also know that if i put smaller tips on it will tone it down.

when u say resonator what do you mean? like im thinking of putting a cherry bomb there or a flowmaster hushpower

IMHO, first mistake was getting a Flowmaster. Been known to hold back power. Any ways, a resonator will help. Different tips will not, unless they have built in resonators. A cherry bomb on a V6? That's a new one.

Smaller Tips will change the note. And I mean using an absorption style muffler as a resonator to mellow out the rasp. I.E. glass pack or hush power

I should clarify what I meant. Flowmaster will add horsepower gains, nearly every aftermarket exhaust will. The problem with Flowmaster is that they do not flow nearly as much as Magnaflow or Borla and there have been numerous tests proving this and if I can find the charts, I'll post them up. I do remember off hand they did a comparison between Magnaflow and a Flowmaster Super 40. Both were 3inches in/out with it being a offset/center muffler. The Magnaflow flowed ~220 more cfm than the Flowmaster.
