Default New egr fails?

I just replaced my EGR valve today and cleared all the codes. At times, it wants to work, but at others, it wants to act like it did before it was replaced. If I have the gas pedal down a bit, it'll stumble, but if I gently lift up, it'll be fine. The design on it is somewhat different.

New one

Old one

EGR 2 & 3 Solenoid Failure.

Any ideas?

Did you replace the solenoids or just the EGR valve? The code is complaining about the solenoids not working, it says nothing about the valve. So if you just replaced the valve, the problem will still be there.

I've gone through tons of Google pages and could not find a single picture of a 3.4L Camaro EGR solenoid. Where is it located? Also, if its the solenoids aren't part of the valve, how come I can't find them at autozone, oriellys, advanced autoparts etc?

Well, took egr off and ran the car to see if any carbon was coming out, no. Could it be to much back pressure causing it to fail? Cause if I hit the gas just right, I can make it backfire. Or could it be a clogged cat?
