ok so i had a new clutch put in, master and slave... the clutch seems great... but my only problem is when i put down the pedal to shift... my RPM'S arn't falling until i actually let the clutch out into the new gear. i've never replaced a clutch in a car until now so is this just part of the break in of a clutch?? please help i just spent 900 for all of it and wanna make sure i can drive it and not mess it up

I dont think this has anything to do with the clutch. It may be the TPS unit (throttle position sensor.) Unless the mechanic that totall over charged you forgot to plug one of the two harness back into the trans housing.

 

How much would it cost to convert my car to manuel??
