Default Neutral Drop..

What kind of effects does it have on my transmission? I was wondering because I've done it a few times, but not at high rpm's or anything. The most I've done is 3k, which causes it to lose traction a little.. If I do it every now and then at about 2500 or so will it screw my transmission after a while? Is it safe to do at low rpm's or what?

Besides loosing traction, you are going to loose the transmission. That is not the way to get a good launch.

ok.. lol. Definately never doing it again.. thats for sure. I'll just brake torque before I do anything, if I even do that.

Think of your 'netural drop' start as doind a running start, face first into a wall.

Acouple of times, no major damage, but do it enough and you ain't going no where.

It just rips off the friction materials off the clutches.
