Yep, with 2 borla mufflers, they come short like that.. so I'd just buy 2 of em, then 2 cats an H pipe and headers

Which is what I'll be going for when I get the cash
That was just H-pipe with the Borla XR-1 mufflers dumped at the axle.

RE: Need some help with a full exhaust system
most im almost done with my full exaught so ill do my best to help. basically for the price you cant really beat pacesetter heat coated headers. the main differance between shortys and long tubes is that long tubes creat a little more low end torque. like stan said true duals will give you the best sound but they are not cheap to pull of in a way that will acctually bring up your horse power. due to the fact that our engines do not have the same kind of compression that say a v8 does it cant keep up with say open headers or most true dual systems. since the pipes are so open theres no pressure pushing the exaught out and it pools up actually slowing the flow. however with a cated X pipe and in pipe muflers on both pips you could get a almost optimal flow for the sixer. however that wont be cheap. also pacesetter headers come with there own y pipe so unless you are gonna rune true duals no need to buy one...

RE: Need some help with a full exhaust system
Crap, why is that considered off road?
I gotta pass inspection in Texas and if its considered O/R I think I'm screwed
It'll be just as emission-owned as my set up now, if not more with 2 cats and mufflers lol.

RE: Need some help with a full exhaust system
I talked to my muffler shop down here he said it's legal as long as its not too loud.. haha.
I hope i can do this, it sounds so sick.
cant decide between the long pipes and the shortys ^^.
I'll decide soon enough.

Long tubes vs shorties?
Thats easy, if you've got the cash to shell out for the custom made long tubes, go for it lol.
Otherwise, I haven't heard any complaints about Pacesetters.

benny yours is a 3.4? if so, there is no long tube headers for us base models. basically your options are 1 of 3. pacesetter hooker and rksport.
i know that there was this guy on fullthrottlev6.com that made custom long tubes for sixxxxxes
but they are for 3.8s and they are 800$
