so i got beat by my frinds oldsmobile intrigue last week in my 00 3.8 auto Camaro and he has been giving me **** for it 24/7 ever since. He has the 3.4 w/ dual overhead cams, and an intake... thats all i know about, except that its a major grandma car! ive got about $300 and would love it if you guys could tell me some affective mods in that price range. .... or does anyone know any little tricks to maybe gain a few hp??? thanks a ton -kyle

That twin cam 3.5 puts out more power than your 3.8, and the little Olds is probably lighter than your Camaro. You can do a few things with $300 but I am not sure you are going to match the Olds. A cold air intake, and a tune up will help some, and also use up the $300.

just got done with my ram air modification.... notice a little difference
...and im not sure about the nitrous thing.. was looking for more of a bot on type thing that will always be there... i would waste that nitrous to fast!

your engine puts out 200 HP and 225 ft/pds of torque with a 0-60 time of 7.4 seconds and a 15.7 @ 88.3 MPH 1/4 mile ET ... his puts out 215 HP and 230 ft/pds of torque with 0-60 in 7.7 seconds and 1/4 mile at 15.8 ... the difference between the two is the camaro is more areodynamic and is geared differently. if your car is tuned right and you learn how to drive it , you should be able to smoke him.
