Default Need Help Finding a Fuel Rail for 3.4L V6

I am a newbie to this forum. I am hoping someone can help me repair or replace a fuel rail on a 1995 Chevy 3.4L crate engine with Rochester MPFI. I had a leak on the outlet fuel line tube. I pulled the seal out of the fuel rail. This seal is impossible to find. The seal fits inside the fuel rail. It is approximately 0.5in OD. 3/8 in ID. 1/8 wide. I am at the point of replacing the whole fuel rail with a replacement fuel rail with intact inlet and outlet seals. This is, of course, an obsolete part as far any local GM dealer is concerned. By the way, this engine is sitting in 1974 MGB roadster with a Camaro T5 V8 5-speed. I really need to get it back on the road. Any advice greatly appreciated. I can post pictures if needed for clarification. Thank you. .....Mike C (Wichita)

have you tried a fuel friendly o ring kit to see if it had ones that will work. should be two different sizes.

Haven't found the right O-ring yet. There is a supposed replacement O-ring kit that is labeled SK18, but there is no way those would work. Way to small. You can see from the picture the difference.
I tore up the o-ring getting it out. It was leaking anyway and unable to hold fuel pressure. Still looking. Thanks......Mike C.

I had the same problem you do. I got that same SK18 kit and found out they weren't the right size.

Unfortunately, I've gone through so many things to fix (and a lot of different o-rings) that I'm not sure what I found that fit. I believe it was either Dorman 800-013 (though I would look at them at the auto parts store, because honestly they might be the same as SK18) or the right size came packed with the new fuel pressure regulator I bought. That is Standard Motor PR10. I'm sorry I can't help you more.

Thanks, man. I may have found one that actually fits. It's a fuel injector o-ring. I yanked that top metal ring and put the o-ring down inside. It seems to fit pretty good. My fuel pump is frozen up right now, so I have to find what the problem is with that, then I can re-check the fuel pressure. I am actually in another forum of MG owners who have installed GM 2.8, 3.1, and 3.4 liter V6's into MGB roadsters and GT coupes. Also, Buick aluminum 215 CI V8's all the way up SBC's and 302 Fords. I am working with one of the forum members who is trying to drill and tap a 3/8" NPT fitting from Summit Racing into the 3.4L fuel rail. We'll see how that goes. I would trust an NPT more than a nitrile o-ring anyway....Thanks for the info......Mike C
