haha, I like that line, one-tire-frier

The situation is dire!
It's a one tire frier!
Uh oh, there's a fire!
Fire fire fire!
Someone call the squire!
be careful, he's a liar!
He too has a frier,
A one tire frier!

i makes a poem [8D]

As far as 1/4 mile times go, it depends on your tranny. If your looking for faster times hopfully you have an auto. I would suggest a 3500 stall.

With all the same mods as you listed, with the 3500 converter and 4.10s instead of 3.73s. A firebird 3.8 ran 13.53 @ 100.2 n/a and 12.26 @ 109.3 with the 100 shot
you're claiming almost a second and a half over bolton times. even with everythign else listed i cant see that happening without weight reduction....

I think the time improvement comes from the auto with a stall converter.

thats a very large gap. were talking about a second and a half. 15 flat for full boltons, 13.53 for cam, LSD, and stall w gears? maybe gutted.

Well he was talking about 410 gears too. Plus with an auto, you can launch with gas, and have sticky tires. lol, one way to find out

Where were you in my 3800 mods thread Stig?!?! Lol jk. (BTW, what happened to your mod guide?)

I'm planning on a closely related build. But I'm going to stay away from FI for as long as possible.
Why would you go fora Y-pipe? I thought this is what made our v6's ricey sounding, I was looking into a true duals setup with an H-pipe. Still gotta keep my cats though, DD. [&:]

However, I've got the auto
We should keep in touch and compair builds!

yeah, I thought about a dual exhaust, but I don't think I'll gain any performance from it, not enough to worry about any ways. Just gonna stick to the basics. Since I'm going to delete the cat, when I put a pipe in its place, I'll put an electric cutout there. why electric? Well, I have plans to lower the car, and I can't get underneath as it is

lol, graduation, and I'm selling our 1977 Honda CB400F for about 2 grand.

Two grad parties, just had one today, about 40 people, and roughly $500.

The second is on saturday, same amount of people, except family.

I ask a lot of questions, but the only things I've done to the car is what you see in my sig. I'm torn betwean prepping it for drag racing, or prepping it for road racing. I dunno. PLus our family has a little more money now that we aren't paying for gas for my Jeep. And if I get a few bucks, I immediatly save it for my car. Example: I've been wearing the same t-shirts for 4 years now, and the same pair of $20 Fredmeyers shoes for 1 year. I just don't spend it on anything else. My dream is to put the new lsx small block in it, but that's gonna be a $20,000 job, not for many years to come. I can keep my dreams right?

I'm not claiming anything, these are accual times someone I know has ran with a 3800 Firebird. He is a good driver, you can tell the trap speeds are a little low for the times so he must be luanching perfectly. And 15 flat with bolt ons is only what I ran. Its hot & humid here and I have 3.08 gears plus no LSD. If you get a Y87 camaro with full bolt ons it could do 14.7 with ease. Cam, stall, gears and some good tires will really help your times.
