Woops, not musicman anymore. Anywho...

Just ordered HP Tuners Pro, getting ready to order a wideband (as soon as I make up my mind which I want). Finally I can tune this thing on my own. Stan, I might need some help getting over the learning curve, I'm still in carburetor land, and am being drug away kicking and screaming. What I am looking forward to is getting rid of the cat and polluting the earth more *cough* I mean, out-running vipers

Why the name change...witness protection?
Does that also mean you have to give up your ROTM status?

Why the change? It's a long story.

It's not that hard to learn, and I am by know means an expert. I haven't messed with it in awhile, but I'll help where I can.

That's enough for me. I've been doing some more reading, I'm impressed with what can be changed using this thing, can't wait to get it.

You'll enjoy the datalogger/scanner as well.

Can I use it to scan other cars (like a mercury) for trouble codes? If I can, that a huge bonus for me, my old auto-xray unit has a problem with the screen.

Just got an e-mail, it'll be here in 2-3 business days. That's not fast enough, lol

Going to get one of these to mount my wideband gauge. I was going to get the PLX unit, but now I can't decide between it or the AEM Uego. So I might have a panel that will be empty for a little while.

Made up my mind last night and ordered the AEM unit, it's all built into the gauge, so less wire mess to deal with. Now that I've got that stuff out of the way, back to my engine, not far from having it all done.

It should scan other GM cars, but I think you would need the Ford version to scan Ford vehicles. Did you see the list of all the supported vehicles?
