If you got good fabricating skills you can turbo your car for around $2500. If you don't got the skills it's almost triple.

Headers and full exhaust. A tune, cold air intake. Also what year and engine?? That'll help out alot for mods. Getting a performance cam and strong valve springs will free up alot. One peice aluminum drive shaft will transfer power to the wheels better and posi will help alot aswell.

Sell your V6 and buy a V8.

Or, you know, use the search function.

Good link, but there's a bunch of stuff missing there!
- AC bypass pulley
- coil packs, plugs, wires
- fuel injectors
- performance tires
- Nitrous

Ya cause putting a turbo on a 10+ year old stock V6 is a good idea.

It would help to have some idea what year we are dealing with. Do you truly want to know the most HP for 2K? I have to agree Saint Ebony. If you sell your car and add 2K to it I am sure you could find a decent Lt1. That 285 ponies and a much lower torque range then a built v6 would have. I doubt you will hit 285 with a V6 for 2k and if you did it would be time to update your tranny and rear to handle it. The jump from 285 to 325 is simple boltons with a LT1 V8.

Hey he wanted the most power for the money. Sure it might not last long but it'll give you the most power.

Best thing to do if not interested in buying all those parts is to sell and take your $2000 and get a z28 or ss like saint ebony said.

Liberty, your responses are idiotic, worthless and contribute nothing to the threads that you've responded to. To the OP, IMO I would do bolt-ons, but not much else. $2K is a lot of money to pour into a V6 Camaro if you ask me.

Exclamation

Coming from someone who's most common reply is to buy a V8 to someone who has a V6. If all you want to do is make your rude opinion a personal attack, you can send a PM. Do you even own a Camaro now?

Plenty of posts have shown my recommendations for Camaros. But for 2K, I honestly think you could better spend it on a 5th Gen V6 downpayment, assuming the OP has a V6.

Actually, the OP made no reference to what type of Camaro he/she owns applicable to this thread...

If you look at his avatar, sig, and garage- all indicate he has a 2002 Camaro.

Assuming the person has the income to support a loan on a $23,000 car.

It's posted in the 4th-gen V6 section. I think it is safe to say he has a 4th-gen V6.

C'mon man, let's cool it. This ain't the place to start attacking each other~
