Default modifying a 3.8

hey guys im new to this forum and just have a couple questions. i already tried to search the boards and coudnt find what i was looking for but heres my question. i have the 97 camaro rs with the 3.8. i want to do a gt2 cam from zzperformance. com to give it a lopey idle. the cam cost 300 dollars. wat would it cost to have it installed. and from wat im hearing its best to have some performance parts already done of course, before installing the cam. i have a flowmaster 40 dual exhaust setup and plan on doing a cold air intake and headers.

You'll have to upgrade your entire valvetrain to support the cam... Rods, rockers, springs, etc....

i looked into it for my 3.8 and you have to do a cam+ heads combo. and of course all the components inbetween, plus then your computer definitely needs to be reprogrammed... but i have seen plenty of 3.8s with it done and they sound very nice!
