I have a 1996 Chevy Camaro 3.8L

Everything was running fine until I ran out of gas...

I blew the fuel pump, so I had the pump, and fuel lines replaced.
When I got the car back it was misfiring, I decided to change the plugs, wires, and coil packs. Computer still reads it's misfiring on the 2 cylinder. Changed fuel filter, and used some expensive fuel system cleaner and drove around until the tank was empty.

Still misfiring, check engine is still flashing, and it smells awful like gas at the cat.

Fuel injector maybe?

sure sounds like u called it with the injector. may have blown it when u ran out of fuel. check fuel pressure and make sure the regulator is not it. may have high pressure.
