ok im going to be puting an ls1 into something. what is the best year v6 frame that will fit it nicely. My buddy works at an hummer dealership and got me a 6.0 ls1 for 800 with computer wiring harness and vette intake so itll be a cheap swap for me

 

any year, doesnt matter if you think its going to be cheap, your better off buying a v8, you have to change some much stuff its not even funny. even if you only spent 800 buxs for the motor, your still looking at another 5-8k in the other things your going to have to change. and this is a common question on this forum that everyone wants to know. so basically every one is going to tell you to buy a V8 take your money and just mod the hell out of that... heres a link to a site that will tell you everything you have to change to get that LS1 in working order. http://www.tacreationsusa.com/3_4_3_8_v6_to_ls1.htm
