lowering springs

First which ones do you have or want? In order to control the springs, you really need an adjustable damper -- Koni single adjustable shocks.
Unless you buy the SLP kit that has Bilstein shocks and Eibach lowering springs -- already tuned to work together. Any other combination will shorten the life of your shocks. You really want to go with Koni SAs in most all other cases. Some of the better ones out there are Strano's lowering springs:

Jack the car up. Put jacks under the jack points on the body. About 12" infront of rear wheels. Drop the diff down as far as possible. Add some support with the jack undo the shocks and drop the diff down as far as needed to pull the springs out. You'll need to remove the tires aswell.

OH MY GOD!! PLEASE. Let me stop you right now. I had them on my camaro when I got the car. I HATED THEM. The car would bottom out everywhere. If your in a parking lot with speed bumps you should just back out while you still can or you should start looking for a new oil pan. Mine pan leaks because of them stupid springs along with my power steering. The car rode like CRAP. You could feel everything. And if you plan on doing mods like headers dont put the springs on because they would be hitting the ground. I got rid of them and am so happy. And they slow you down to. I looked like a import. LOW N SLOW

I'm not to sure about the front. Never taken the springs out. You'll need a spring compressor. Jack up and put stands behind front tires. The jack points are about 16" back from the front tires. Remove wheels undo the lower shock bolts. Compresss springs undo top mount. I could be wrong about the top mount. Like I said I've never touched the front shocks before.
