Default Lowering Springs

Ok so I'm going to be getting some playing money in January and I'm wanting to lower my car. I've been told numerous times by numerous people that Eibach springs are trash. However, that's the only thing I can find for my car. Any ideas? Any other suggestions? Post links please!!!

Edit: Also do I need shocks too or can i get away with buying just springs? Thanks everyone!

How much is the playing money? I know you want lowering kit, but what about fixing your car or getting the 3.8 you've been wanting?

I've been told that you don't necessarily need new shocks/struts when you install the springs, but the originals won't last very long after the install, so you'd be better off waiting until you can install the springs and new shocks/struts at the same time.

I have eibachs on mine and I feel a huge difference from the stock ride & looks a lot sexier too with the new ride height. I live in NYC and was worried about the ride being that I'm in pothole city but it actually improved even with that, I'm sure that will change some what when i get my rims and tires. I try to avoid as many as possible but focus on the big ones since you can swerve from one just to end up in another. I haven't changed the shocks yet but I know I need to if I really want the handling. I never heard anything bad about eibach when I asked around but I'm pretty new to this myself.

Eibach just tend to quickly sag. At that point, the ride goes to **** because your shocks are doing all of the work.

Damn, wish I would've known before. How long do you think I have? I just installed beginning of Nov. Like Chaotic said what else is out there for the 6ers cause like him I only found the Eibach's and also some cheap no name springs on eBay.

I'm not sure yet. Maybe $300-$700.

I'm sure Sam Strano could come up with something for you. Ask him =P You have loads of time in reality. But they WILL sag after like 20k miles lol.

Chaotic. Fix what's wrong with the car first bro. Don't waste money on lowering when you need to use it to fix other things that actually affect drivability. It will ride like **** without better shocks.

All it needs is a tranny mount and the clutch needs bled. After that, it'll be good. All that will cost like $100
