Just replaced my oil switch and changed oil today in the Maro. seemed to steady the oil pressure needle a little but my car has decent miles os i wouldn't expect the greatest pressure anyway. But i was wondering how to get the low oil light to come off because I obviously have the correct amount of oil and i don't know what sensor controls that, so any help would be appreciated.

BTW- Changin valve cover gaskets soon seems simple enough but any unexpected problems or advice is appreciated.

 

Check on the oil pan. On the 3.8, there is a electronic sensor on the drivers side of the pan that has a wiring connection to it.

 

k will look for that.
