Low Fuel Dash Light
Quick Question.
I have a 1996 Camaro, does it have an instrument cluster Low Fuel Light. My wife was complaining that she ran out of gas because no light came on...... ha ha..
Did they have the instrument cluster light in 1996 for Low fuel?

The 'Check Gauges' lamp is there in my '95 -- just shine a bright light to get visibility of the dash lights -- maybe you have a bulb out...

Kinda tough to just keep an eye on the fuel gauge, eh?
I know, it is a tricky piece of workmanship to figure out!
Ooh, what does that needle pointing at "E" mean...Enough?

Wow. So many "check the bulb" answers. I'm assuming you all were talking about taking the dash apart to see if said bulb worked. All the warning lights are LEDs (illumination lamps are incandescents). The LEDs last a long time, and in addition to that, these lights are rarely lit. They all come on for a second or two when you turn the key to ON (not RUN), and when your car thinks something is out of the ordinary. There should be no reason for it to be burned out or "busted". To see if you have said light (should be the Check Gauges light), simply turn the key to ON, and search for it. If it is not there, then remind your wife that it does have a fuel gauge. I can give you hell about it, as my girlfriend has done the same thing...
