i bought HID lights and the people said oh ALL 880 series lights will fit.
The foglights on my 95 camaro are 885 and the plugs from the ballasts on the HID kits dont fit.
Am i goin crazy and they do fit or do they actually not fit like i think they dont?
on the box it says 880/881

 

oh yeah also whats the easiest way to get to the fog light without taking the bumper off?
the plastic rivit clips on the side break every time i try to take them off. (its really annoying)

I should have been more specific, sorry. I was referencing the HID swap over. Did you ever find a way to get the bulbs to fit or did you scrap the idea? Was hoping to hear what others have run into, or come up with.

The way it plugs up is mostly dependant on the kit you buy.
I got slim ballasts which meant I had 2 silver plugs that go into the socket coming from the car.
If you have problems with connecting yours its most likely just the plugs are mixed up somewhere.
