Default Lethal or not?

Hello everyone,

I was looking at a z28 2001 camaro today. The car looked beautiful inside and outside, except for its rear left side. The side was slightly skewed, the cover of the gas tank wouldn't close all the way as the trunk wouldn't either. When I opened the trunk and took the cloth mats out I saw a crack in the wheel arc, i.e. in the outdent that covers the rear left wheel and provides support for anything in the trunk.

Is that a part of the frame? Or can it be easily replaced?

Thank you,
The Interested1

I guess I'm a little wrong. It wasn't a z28, it had a V6 engine thus it was a "regular" camaro. So it's body isn't fully made of metal then. Including the part that I've described. Is that correct?

If you remove the rear bumper cover, the crash bumper, and the hatch, then the rest of the back portion of the body is metal. That car has been hit pretty good on the left rear side, and it sounds like it's tweaked enough to where it's going to need to be straightened on a frame machine.
