Default Leaking Antifreeze

Ok here it I have been having this problem for about a month. My car is leaking antifreeze I have looked all over the engine to see if I could find the source with no luck. I have also searched all over this forum to see if I could find anyone with the same problem to no luck. The car is leaking antifreeze I can’t find the source it is a small leak the only place that I can find any trace of a leak is on the outlet hose from the water pump. I thought it might have been the water pump but I think it would have gone bad by now if that was the case anyone have any suggestions?

Didn't even need the search function for this one. It was on page 1 of the 4th Gen.

I just had the same problem on mine a few weeks ago. It took me a minute to find it but is was a pin hole leak on one on the hose from the water pump to the heater core.

I think the t-stat itself has a rubber gasket around it. If you want to put one on the housing, go for it.

Probably your water pump -- if weeping, it's your first sign of failure... I replaced mine myself on my '95 3.4L -- not too bad -- make sure you get a pully puller!

Why do you need a puller? It's just four bolts, and off the pulley comes...

you need to pull the pulley off of the power steering, but on the water pump itself it is 4 bolts. i did this too to my 3.4 it was simple, power braket has to come off adn be pushed aside btu its all easy bolts. noob may take 3-4 hours. good knowledge 2ish. and so forth. the pump wil have a weep hole and will puke the fluid out through, it will be obvious on the front of a 3.4 block.

make for dam sure that it is not gettign into the block through intake manifold gasket or head gasket. i had a freind whose pump was weeping and he replaced it and went on his way but the intake manifold gaskes was bad as well so he ignored it adn cased a fair ammount of damage to the engine.
