Question Kind of odd question 1994 FB and 1995 Camaro

Hello everyone. I have been lurking and learning prior to moving forward with my project. I have a 1994 Firebird with an excellent drive train (120K) but bad body. My daily driver is a 1995 Camaro covertible with a great body (clear coat peeling but no rust and only 1 small dent). Both have same engines and transmissions. My Camaro has 160K on it. My brother in law owned it for 12 years and maintenance was not his strong suit. I want to swap the 1994 FB engine/trans into the Camaro. Drop it from the bottom, roll it over to the other car. I just don't know about the computer (ECM, PCM, whatever it is called). Do I swap the FB computer (with the engine and trans) into the Camaro or leave the Camaro computer as it is? Thank you in advance for any help.
Doug

Is this considered a stupid question or does no one know the answer?

Doug,

I have no expertise to help you but I might suggest you let this one "soak" until someone who can help you reads it.

This forum isn't as busy as Facebook or Twitter but there are some very experienced mechanical/electrical geniuses around.

Be patient & good luck.

Keep the computer from the 95. 93, 94, and 95 all have minor differences with ECM/PCM. Most of the sensors are the same I believe but keep the ones from your 95 handy in case one is different.

All good suggestions. Some of my concern was the OBD 1.5 in the 95 and if there were vast differences in the transmission communication between 94 and 95. I will swap out all of the sensors from my 95 (all are new) into the 94 engine.

Will do. I printed off some pictures that should help me id them. I think you are correct from what I read that 94 and 95 are the same but 93 is different and I think there were more choices for 96.
