I just got duel magnaflow exhaust and when i start to speed up it sounds good, but when i get going pretty fast and high in a gear it gets louder and louder then it makes a sputtering sound (or somthing like it, nothing sounds wrong or anything) i was thinking maybe the exhaust just need to be broken in or something, but i wasnt sure.

 

It doesn't have enough backpressure , my V6 does the same thing, it gets up to about 4-4500k and it 'pops' or 'rattles' to an extent, sounds EXCELLENT at lower rpms, up to about 3500 or so, but any more than that it is loud and less clean sounding.

I payed $150 for my flows and they do the same. Sounds kick *** idleing and around 3500 rpm as stated above. lol

 

mine was $300

 

i bought some american thunder flowmaster from summit for 270.

 

can u insert a soundclip? or a video i was thinkin bout getting a magna to replace my flowmaster, but i wanna see if it actually sounds better
