Okay I had a freind come over last night and we put the car on the lift and read through the ls-1 removal and had the motor siting on the floor under the car in about 2.5 hours the lift sure made it nice. I just hope before I install the other motor I have the money to do a couple things like headers and some other things to hlp the 3.8 out some.

no the only pictures I have aree the ones after I was all done that I took this morning. With the motor sitting on the floor and the car still on the lift. And yes the lift was really nice, I have done abunch of motor swaps in other things and never had a lift and this made it really nice. I just have to get the other motor and see what all I have to change from mine if anything since it was from a 99 camaro

Okay I am still looking for a motor if I can find a great deal while I wait for the freind of mine to pull his Which I found out tonight is going to still be over a month.

Gorn stated the link and assumes they would fit ours which I agree but I need to make sure of that. Can anybody guarantee these will all work

I just found another junk yard that tests the motors and has a good warranty that is just getting started and has a couple of the cars on the list but he said he looked under them and their is no bolt holes on the block for the motor mounts like their is in his 97 3.8 camaro motor that has two many miles for me. What is the deal I also found another junk yard that has one from a 98 grand prix but allot more money. I wish I could just take my motor all apart and just put all new gaskets in it from top to bottom and reinstall and keep driving.

I just thought of another question when I was removing one of the heater hose. The little side ears that lock it in on the motor side broke. Can you buy just them pieces I really don't want to buy a hole new heater hose they are a tad a high.

I think you can buy the tabs, I dont think they come with the hoses. There is a steel upgrade that was used on the FWD cars. If i get a chance tonight I will look and see if I have more info on it.
