Default Interior Lights on Camaro

Most of the interior lights on my 98 camaro has gone out. My factory radio lights, the light that lights up to see which gear im in and a few other ones. Could it be a blown fuse or bulbs? if it is a bulb how would i go about replacing them>?

if its all of them its more likely its the fuse, check that first then start with bulbs or you might have a short somewhere too.

Well I have bad news on the radio they are soldered onto the control board and not user servicable. I have disassembled my factory unit to check and I was not pleased with what I found. As for the shifter light that is a simple matter of removing the coin holder, removing the 2 7mm screws, pulling the retaining pin out of the shift ****, and lifting the top of the console off. Once it is off you will see where the bulb goes, replace it with a #37 bulb and enjoy the lights. The #37 is also used in the doors to light the lock and window controls if you have them, and the heater controls.

If it is all of the interior lights, such as dash guage lights, radio, etc. I would suspect the headlight switch if the fuse shows good. If it is only a few, then that would not be it but as others say, the individual lights. Massey, can you believe, GM did the little soldered lights on the Suburban heater control section, 4x4 indicator pad, etc too. Instead of a 97 cent light bulb, I have to spend $50 for a circuit board. SUX.
