Cool insurance question

I have yet another question (my other post was rather lengthy) I was wondering what the price of insurance typically runs on camaros. I'm 24 married, and have clean record on my insurance (wife too) ATM we are insuring a 92 chrysler New Yorker, and a 98 Dodge Dakota Sport club cab. My insurance right now runs $50 and some odd cants. I'm dropping the Yorker as it's served it's purpose and has three tires in the crusher. I'm just trying to get an idea of what other people are paying for their car so I will have an idea. (I go through progressive not that it means much) Thanks guys!

Where you live has a lot to do with your rate. Once you hit 25 you are put in the mature category. If you have kids it drops also. For basic coverage my insurance droped $25 for 6 months going from a Olds Cutlass rag top to my V6 Camaro. I would imagine your insurance will stay about the same as your Yorker. My V6 Camaro cost like $156 for 6 months but I am an old dude with a clean record.

Progressive will give you an online quote. I would think it would be faster then this post.

ok thanks guys, I was figuring at most it might raise my insurance about 25 a month. The main thing that turned me on to the v6 is I don't need the power of a v8 for an around town car, and the insurance and gas will be a lot easier on the wallet. I know three guys tring to sell me z28's with 383's and i told them i don't need that kind of power and gas mileage lol.

Call your insurance agent, teh quote is free and accurate. We can only tell you what we are paying according to our situation. Rates vary widely depending on where the car is garaged, coverage limits, driving record, type of car, insurance company, age of driver, and on and on.

well just got insurance on the camaro, and it shocked me at how low it was actually, I was paying 50.00 and with the camaro and other two vehicles insured it's only $71. I was expecting to hit the hundred mark but it was really cheap.

Bleh. Mine is $110, and just went up to 200 because of my speeding ticket.
