Installing K&N cold air intake

I have a 94 3.4 and the box is sitting on the right bottom corner (close to you when you pop the hood). It just sits into a little spot.

Ah my apologies then. The K&N should go right in the same hole

The plastic K&N intakes for 93-97 suck because they are plastic and heat-warp -- I have seen it, and would not recommend one. SLPs is better, but you also have to go though the bottom to access the filters. See:

ive never heard anything about the k&n melting i dont think theres anything warm that even touches it... if you start to melt that thick of plastic idk what to even say ill take some pics a little later its raining here. But that slp intake looks so tiny and to little filters idk just looks funny
