Install Flowmaster American Thunder issue - Help appreciated
Hello all,
Today I was trying to install the flowmaster exhaust system, and ran into a snag.
Basically, I'm having a very hard time (well, impossible time thus far) of getting the part that goes over the axel in.
I lowered the panhard arm as suggested, but still can't get it to go in no matter which way I twist, turn, push or pull it. It just doesn't fit.
I do have the car supported by the axel - would that be pushing the axel up too close to the body, whereas if I supported it by the frame there would be more space?
Can I, while still having the jack stands on the axel, use a jack to jack the body up even further, to create space? Is that safe?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Will

I would just lower it back down, raise it by the frame, and you should have enough space to fit it. Whatever jacking arrangement you asked about at the end just sounds like an accident waiting to happen...
