I have a 95 camaro and I'm not getting any spark from cylinders 3,5, and 6. Ive got all new plugs and wires. My next step was replacing the coil packs but cylinder 3 is on the same pack as cylinder 4 and cylinder 4 has spark. I assume if the pack was busted both would lack spark.
Ideas?
Are there any common 3.4 issues I should know about?

 

According to the FSM the coil layout shows a different cylinder pairing. 1 & 4, 6 & 3, 2 & 5. In certain conditions, an internally open coil may still be able to fire on one side. Try replacing both coils (6 & 3, and 2 & 5). If the coils have been moved around the numbering will be off and cause confusion. Also check out the ignition module under the coils and check the connector for corrosion.

 

Seems like Z28pete has ya covered. I'd suggest moving coils because one side can go dead but the other remain fine. My biggest misfire problems on my 3.8 always seem to be the coil packs.

 

So it was cylinders 3, 2, and 5 than. So replace coils and check module, will do. Thanks
