ok it starts idlin at like 1000 and jus keeps rising idk it i dont hear any popping sound or noises jus from it idling to high94 v6

 

How high does it go? It could be the TPS, IAC, or my Z-28 did that because the wires to the t/b were all screwed up at the firewall....
Need a little more info so dont replace anything based on what I said, wait for more experienced members.

 

Does it keep rising to redline? If not, when does it stop? Any Service Engine light?

 

i jus went and started it to see its starts up at 2000 and as itgets warmer the rpm rises

 

i took it to a pro mechanic he put on a new iac, theres no vacuum leak,the idling did the same thingas the old iacaint reacting to the new iac

 

Throttle may be not fully closing. TPS may be faulted. Check under the hood, and see if the throttle linkage is sticking.

i had the same problem it is slowly goin away
ok so if u look on the driver side of the throttle body u will see the acceleration lever and cords
behind the lever there is a 6 point star spot it uses a t-10 star turn it to the right until the idle comes down
it worked for me but i also found a small hole in my EGR valve hose check that out too cause it could be a small hole
i got my idle during drive set at 990 it idles so good and has good acceleration
so check that out
