I want speed!
Here's what you do. Plan a budget and set goals. Then go from there. Keep things reasonable, and stick to your road map. Basics first: Intake, exhaust (not flowcrapper), headers, gears, high flow cat (basic bolt-ons). Don't even THINK about a cam without that stuff out of the way.
First of all I don't know what half the stuff you just mentioned above does haha, yes I am not very car proficient. And secondly I need to get a new rear end before I can do any mods cuz i just crashed my camaro recently
i wasn't bashing earlier, i have a v6 lol.
when i said to enjoy it for what it is, i didn't mean it in a negative way. it already has mods from the other guy doesn't it? just enjoy what you have already, or build on it. totally up to you.
just wanted to make sure you didn't take it the wrong way. and not saying anyone accused me of saying anything too negative about it, i just re-read my post and...yeah lol.

music i didn't say that you can't mod a 3.4 easily i just said that it wouldn't be worth it in the long run and it would be easier for him to leave this car as it is don't waste his money and save for a v-8 because it will be in the long run cheaper than modding a 3.4l don't get me wrong the 3.4 is a fun car so is the 3.8 but stock it's fun for a little while till you get the "need for speed" as i like to call it =P
you have a few options man:
1) keep this camaro the way it is and save up for a v-8
2) do a v-6 to v-8 swap with your car (if your attached)
or 3) spend some money modding your car.
personally i would aim for choice 1 or 2 =P
the 3.4l is great for a daily driver but not so much for power, but hey ANYTHING is possible!

personally, i love my 3.8 it's my baby, but my baby is getting fixed now and i miss it!
but like mikey said he's not very good with cars, and he's probably about 17 or 18 maybe younger he should be putting his money away and not throwing it into his first car, your first car is what your learn on, it's gonna get beat to ****, no matter really what you do, accidents happen, my advice, save up some money and then go from there. but i'm sure everyone will give you some advice of where to start, music has the right idea of where to start.

Y'all know didly squat about 3.4's. They're actually a little easier to mod than a 3.8, to a certain extent. For one, there's readily available aluminum heads for a 3.4 (came on fwd's). Aluminum heads for a 3.8 are clear up around $2000, and they don't flow very well.
e-mail this guy for info on them, he builds some of the most bad *** 60* engines I've ever seen. Don't speak unless you actually know what you're talking about please.

MUSIC!!! just because some guy on FTV6 has a crazy 3.4 build does not make it eaiser to mod..... the fact is that the 3.4 is a truck engine that the stuck in camaros because it was convient at the time. thats why it got dicontinued in like 3 and half years.....
i will agree the 3.4 is a good engine and it is quick for what it is and with mine i have just done exhaust and i did see some inprovement hp wise but i mean it seems like to me you can do what you want to them and not see alot of inprovement in the hp area.. but dont get me wrong the 3.4 is a quick engine i have beaten v-8 camaros and for 95 the v6 camaro was the strongest 6 out there

You've beat V8 Camaros with your 3.4?
