I have pulled the entire dash guage out from my car and cant seem to find any light bulb of any sort to the digital odometer seems it went out all at once it is very dim you can only see it at night I was told by a mechanic that I would have to send the entire unit in to GM is there possibly any other way the odometer light can be fixed Please I need help I do not want to send in to GM the odometer is still correctly reading the mileage

something must be bad in the IC simple circuitry, so taking it to a dealer would be ideal

 

Not to be rude I avoid dealers due to the fact that im a female that they think knows nada bout cars which I do im going to try to take it apart again it may just be a simple wiring problem I hope if i find the prob myself I will let yall know
