I guess I'm just having trouble with my bolts how can I take off my distrubuter cap well OKAY TURN MY DISTRIBUTAR!! Damn these bolts or whatever I'm havin a lot of problems ha!~

 

Do you have a distributor wrench? You can apply more torque with less chances of strippling the head.

 

thanks.....distrubutar wrench?what's that? what am I tryin not to strip? were is this bolt..... so far all I've done is takin off the spark plugs and that's all thanks though..... I think i'll go to the local auto store and see wat they have to say ..... I can't drive now *lost my licence again* but ya thanks so much I apreciate yours and everyone elese help! -Nick-

 

It's a wrench with a bend in it to clear the heads and the block. There is a distributor hold down plate on the passenger side of the motor right under the distributor. That is held in with a bolt that you should losen and if it is on there tight, you don't want to strip the head cuz that's a headache.
