Default How to remove cable from back of starter switch

I have a 2002 V6 Camaro. The start ignition switch is bad. I am in the process of replacing it.

I have the steering column dropped down and everything is removed. I am now looking at the ignition switch with the cable coming into the back of it.

I have a couple of questions

1) How do I remove this cable?
2) The new start switch has a blue button on it. What is this for?
3) Looking at the old switch, I can see what looks like an adjustment screw. The new switch does not have this screw. Is this how the switch is adjusted?? Do I remove this screw and add it to the new switch?

thanks.........John

Need pics, I know what you are asking about the cable but off the top of my head I cant remember how to disconnect it. I remember it is easy to remove but I cant remember how, I should be able to recall if I can see it from different angles. As for the button... NO clue again need pics.
