Calculators aren't something to rely on. They cant calculate driving ability. Every last second counts and you can mess up. Ill have to take mine down to the track sometime soon and see what I get and I will let you all know.

its saying I make 680whp to go 10.42, I can assure you I don't make that much. If we're going off calculators, I've found this to be the closest to accurate
"Pretty accurate" and "dead on" are worlds a part. It is just a straight calculator so it has to make assumptions. As the cars get faster things like rear end setup come more into play. If you search around the net for 3.4 1/4 times you will find 16.6 is the lower end on stock or near stock cars. With lower HP hvy cars launch is less of a factor the it just becomes more of a straight acceleration calculation but the only reason I made the accurate coment was because the time it guessed was close to the time my Ipod guessed using pocket dyno app based on my guess of the HP increase of my 3800. I guess I miss used the word accurate I should have said surpised the numbers looked right for two seprate estimating systems.

The calculator cant be dead on without taking into account torgue curve, imagine a 1500 CC motor kicking on 300 HP at 16,000 RPM then put it in a hvy two speed car. It could easly have a 20 second 1/4 miles because at 2000 RPMs it got like 28HP.

Don't want to come off as a hater, but watch this acceleration video of a car very similiar to yours, look at the time stamp for when it hits 80mph and beyond

I agree with you 100%, but when it comes to paper racing, no one is right, its best to go to a track and see what happens

What do you have? Just simple boltons such as exhaust? that won't help all too much.

These cars have a huge bottle neck with the heads. Even when ported and polished they are what holds the motor back. If you figured out how to make one of these cars fast please share. If you could get the the same time as stock 3800 you would be a hero here.

I think I have a good idea to get past that, its going to take me a decent amount of money and fabrication though.

And the car does have mainly bolt ons, as well as a ton of weight reduction. CAI, cat back exhaust for right now, will get headers soon. I also have a corvette axel back. 180 thermo, a/c is gone with the new pulley, I probably have about 300lbs out of the car, all new ignition and cooling systems, and some other minor stuff. Its not much but it was enough to bring down the 0-60 nicely. Im thinking of getting some high performance injectors next along with the headers and I want to make a custom intake manifold.

Ill take a video soon. First I need to get some pics for ROTM, but I wanted to get a video of my camaro in a touge race anyhow. So Ill do a 0-60 or 0-top out before the race.

300lbs is worth 2-3 tenths tops in a 1/4 mile, so you're still looking at a low 16 at best.

Do you have a corvette axle back or a cat back exhaust?

I'll be interested to see how your car does, where exactly is nottingham pa?

Sorry I confused you a bit there. I had just woken up. My wording was a little off. I have a corvette axel back, before that, it is just straight piped. Have you ever heard of the Herrs Factory? Nottingham is in the southwest corner of Chester county on the border of lancaster county and maryland. If you know where the cecil county drag strip is, Im a stone throw away from cecil county.
