It's your car. No one is stopping you. Slap an SS hood on the V6. Just have fun feeling dumb when someone says, "Hey man nice SS" then you say "Uhhh...no it's a V6".

Ok, first off chill...Second its his car, let him do what ever he wants with it.Think of it this way...the car is the canvas, let him be the artist and express himself how he wants. You can always be a critic, but remeber critics have oppinions, and oppinions are like a$$holes...they both stink.

Chill? Why? I'm not getting angry here. I'm just saying I think it's a dumb idea. Expressing my opinion.

Your opinion sux......Thats my opinion.Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. That is mine.

I love the looks of the SS, but I can't afford one.I'm going to put my SS hood on as soon as it gets painted.I think it will look really cool.I've never seen a camaro with the RS package with an SS hood.

Just my opinion.

Thanks for the help guys. So if it says bolt on? It can be put onto your original mounts w/o anymodding? I dont mean to offend anyone by putting a diffrent hood on my car. To me, if you can make your car all the more BA to yourself. Then go for it. And for the people that do say "wow! nice SS." I'll smile and say nah, thats my V6, my true baby

I think if the owner wants to throw on a ss hood thats tight theres nothing wrong with that. I plan on putting an ss hood and the ss wing on my 02 v6. Like I said why not it looks better.
