High oil pressure?
#21
The old sending unit was this high before it snapped in half, at which point it read zero. Upon replacement, the new one reads high again, just like the old one did. I'm really just wanting to know what kinds of problems a high oil pressure could cause.
The only issues I've had with the vehicle have been overheating (which I've fixed by replacing cooling components, so I know it's not the oil), and vacuum leaks (which I've fixed by replacing hoses). I'm just wondering if there's anything I should keep my eyes open for.

Could be your gauge is out of whack. Accuracy is one main reason why I like mechanical gauges better. To put your mind at ease, you could temporarily hook up a mechanical gauge and see what your true reading is.
