Yeah my Camaro has a few things wrong with it (cosmetically) andthis or in the next two weeks imma be getting an $800 job done on it to replace some worn gaskets, water pump, and some other things. It also has 1386xx miles on it... and the stock stereo head unit sucks. haha.

I want a 94-97 Style Camaro with the pointed tip nose. Although thenewer models have grown on me a little bit (newer as in the 98-200? models), but they cost more. Is there any sites that are used a lot to sell cars other than autotrader.com, cars.com, and craigslist.com? I'd prefer one thats stock so I can do what i want to it.

Do V8 engines last a long time? Like do they start to crap out after a certain amount of miles? Cause common sense would dictate that anyone with a Z28 has run it hard at least a couple of times. I was wondering if I should look under 60-75k miles or if a 100k Z28 would be good?

I was also curious about the years of the LT1 and LS1. I read on another post that the LS1 is faster, yet the LT1 has a lot more customizable options, sounds better, and is pretty fast anyway. Is there a certain year that LT1s were at their peak?

they are all pretty much the same except for the 93's which was the first year and firsts are always prone to problems. where did u hear there was more options for the lt1? and personally i think both cars sound about the same given the similar exhaust system

It was a post in the Z28 section I believe.

that is one of the classic arguments in the lt1 ls1 debate. the lt1 is easier to mod [:-], that is true for some mods, untrue for others, and thus not worth saying. same goes with price of mods, we get that one each time around too and i have a few links with side by side prices and they are pretty much identical.

as for sound i still think its how the car is put together. exhaust sound is mostly a product of the exhaust system itself, and for any v8 with a ypipe it will be similar

Like said before. I think it's all about what you are looking for in your car and how much you want to spend. Hell I love my 3.8 that why I bought it. With a few inexpensive mods it's what I need. I don't plan on going to the drag strip. Plus is dranks less gas than I v8.
